Tom Greene is the chief information and business services officer at Colgate. In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of IT and global business services throughout the company. Greene joined Colgate in 2002 as VP of Americas global information technology. There, he successfully led the creation of the new Americas IT organization that consolidated several division IT organizations into one operation. In 2006, he became VP of global development with specific accountability for leveraging Colgate’s SAP investment through the development of new, state-of-the-art information systems. In 2007, he became CIO. Prior to joining Colgate, Greene held several division CIO positions at Honeywell and various IT roles at Mars, Inc. and J.P. Morgan. He holds a B.S. degree in finance from the University of Delaware and an MBA from Rutgers University. Greene is a member of several IT boards including The Research Board, SAP Executive Advisory Board, IBM Board of Advisors, Verizon Customer Advisory Board and the CIO Strategy Exchange. Greene has been a corporate officer since 2011.
