About the Person
As Vice President Information Technology, CTO, Sue leads a direct staff of over 800 in the development of information systems and strategies for General Mills’ business operations globally. She is currently responsible for Development Services, Enterprise Data and Analytic Solutions, Technical Architecture and Services, Security and Governance, Network & Communications, IS Training and Development, and Data Center Operations. In previous roles at General Mills she managed development and support staffs as Senior Director of Demand Chain IS, Director of Supply Chain IS, project manager for two large SAP implementations, and integration manager for two major acquisitions. In 2002, she received the General Mills Chairman’s award, after leading the successful implementation of consolidated order processing systems, six months after the Pillsbury acquisition close. Sue holds a BA in Mathematics from Gustavus Adolphus College and an MBA in International Business from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management. Sue and her husband Mark have two adult children. She enjoys weekends at her cabin in northern Wisconsin, aerobics, and travel.
