About the Person
Jody Davids is senior vice president and chief information officer of PepsiCo. In its global portfolio of food and beverage brands, PepsiCo has 22 brands that generate more than $1 billion each in annual retail sales. With net revenues of over $63 billion, PepsiCo’s main businesses also make hundreds of other enjoyable foods and beverages that are respected household names throughout the world. Jody assumed the global CIO role in April 2016 and leads PepsiCo’s Business + Information Solutions (BIS) function. BIS delivers all information technology to PepsiCo through a network of 3,700 IT associates worldwide. The BIS focus is on delivering and supporting capabilities that improve business processes, enable associates to connect and collaborate more easily, collect and mine data for analytical insights, and enhance performance across all aspects of PepsiCo’s value chain. Jody has more than 30 years of experience leading and developing technology functions for large organizations. Over the course of her career, she has worked with Agrium, Apple, Nike, Cardinal Health, Best Buy and General Electric. In her most recent role before PepsiCo, Jody was CIO for Agrium Inc., the world’s largest agricultural retailer and a leading wholesale producer and distributor of crop nutrients. She led a transformation of Agrium’s IT organization, improving service delivery, integration and costs. Jody’s professional associations include serving on the board of Premier Inc., which provides performance improvement services to hospitals and other healthcare organizations. Jody earned a bachelor’s degree and MBA from San Jose State University. She is based in Plano, Texas.
