Previously, Michael Englehaupt was Chief Technology Officer at KQED, where he oversaw the company’s technology planning and strategy for its three UHF television stations and two FM radio stations, as well as all web and mobile sites. Prior to that assignment, Englehaupt held various senior level broadcast operations and engineering positions at KPIX–San Francisco, KABC–Los Angeles, WLS–Chicago, Telemundo and WMAQ–Chicago, where he started his career. He has led facility rebuilds, renovations and improvements, managed IT expansions and driven energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives throughout his career.
