Ohio Shared Information Services began in 1999 when three Federally Qualified Health Centers came together to share their medical IT initiatives. They received a grant from HRSA, using that funding to launch a new 501(c)3 organization called Ohio Shared Information Services, or OSIS. Ohio Shared Information Services has since grown to become one of the few full-service Health Center Controlled Networks in the country. We serve clients in four states, manage our own best-in-class data center, and have a broad range of expertise in all an FQHC’s medical IT initiatives.

Work Shield provides employers across the country with an ERISA-qualified, employer harassment prevention plan ("EHP Plan"). The EHP Plan is an employer-funded plan that affords the participants the protections of ERISA and is designed to help address and remedy the rising issues of workplace harassment. Through early detection and an easy, secure way for an employee to file a complaint, along with an independent third-party with a strong and experienced team to investigate and manage the employer`s harassment policy and procedure, the EHP Plan facilitates faster reporting, investigation and resolution of workplace harassment claims for employers and employees. With daily news on harassment issues inside employers, today`s problems are unlikely to go away quickly. More importantly, the current system of handling workplace harassment has never really worked.
