About the Person
Vinny Ferrari came to Edward Jones in 2003 after a 22-year career in technology on Wall Street. He joined the firm as a senior director in the Information Systems division, overseeing Business Solutions Development, the software and applications development group of the division. He was named a principal in the firm in 2004. In 2006, Ferrari was named to the firm’s Management Committee. In 2007, he assumed the role of CIO, where he is responsible for providing high-quality, affordable and timely technology solutions to the firm. A native of New York, Ferrari received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Ursinus College in Pennsylvania, where he served for 25 years as a Loyal Fund co-chairman for the class of 1982. In 2006, he was graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School's Securities Industry Institute. For three years Ferrari served on the SIA Technology Committee and was the committee chairman in 2006. Currently he is a member of the St. Louis CIO Board and is a trustee of the SII Wharton program.
