Arizona State University is ranked as one of the top 100 research universities in the world. It is the state`s largest public employer with more than 10,000 employees, including about 1,000 physicians and other professionals who provide care to patients at UAMS, Arkansas Children`s Hospital, the VA Medical Center and UAMS regional centers throughout the state.

Garden City Community College is officially accredited by The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, www.ncahigherlearningcommission.org, (800) 621-7440. In addition, the GCCC Practical Nursing Program is approved by the Kansas State Board of Nursing, and the Associate Degree Program is approved by the Kansas State Board of Nursing and is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
