Saint Francis Community Services is a community-based service provider, caring for thousands of children and families annually. Since 1945, Saint Francis has been a leader in providing programs and services to strengthen families. Our offices are located throughout Kansas, Oklahoma, Mississippi, and Nebraska with administrative offices located in Salina, Kansas. As a faith-based organization, our mission is to be an instrument of healing for children, youth, and families in spirit, mind, and body, so they live responsibly and productively, with purpose and hope.
We, the Roman Catholic people of the Diocese of Salina, a community of faith united with our bishop, are called to live out the mission of Jesus Christ. Through Baptism we are given the grace of God`s salvation and the individual and collective responsibility to continue Christ`s mission of advancing the Kingdom of God in the human family. We share our living faith by proclaiming the Gospel in word, worship and service. Therefore, we dedicate ourselves as church to be ministers of the Word of God and to extend our heritage of faith, not only among the communities of northwest and north central Kansas, but among all the peoples of the world.
Originally founded in 1977 as Centro Las Americas by Puerto Ricans to serve Puerto Ricans, CENTRO’s mission and the community it serves has evolved. It was quickly realized that all Latinos in the area could benefit from the services offered by CENTRO. That mission has evolved further as we serve individuals and families from North, Central, and South America. We also serve people from the African Continent, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
GSA advances responsible seafood practices worldwide through education, advocacy and demonstration. GSA convenes seafood industry leaders, academia and NGOs to collaborate on cross-cutting issues like environmental and social responsibility, animal health and welfare, food safety and more. GSA is a membership-driven organization. Members include certified producers, corporations and individuals.
