About the Person
Tod Phelps comes to the Heritage Home from Mortgage Contracting Services, where he was chief information officer and partner. Phelps started his career in the IT industry 23 years ago and will call upon past experience to set the strategic direction of all information technology initiatives and to also implement enhancements to advance MCS communications, efficiency and growth. And previous positions, Phelps supported large mortgage servicers as well as other financial institutions and related organizations with information technology and business process outsourcing. He spent a decade at Electronic Data Systems (EDS), starting as an IT developer and eventually managing Latin America operations. As EDS acquired Wendover Financial Services, Phelps became VP of project management to streamline the processes and systems of the integrated companies. He later founded Six Cents Consulting, which provided business and e-commerce consulting for companies such as Blue Rhino, RJR, and Volvo. Phelps transitioned to a CIO for Volvo Construction Equipment in North America and then for Volvo Trucks North America and Mack Trucks. Since then, he has additionally served on the advisory board for software company Decisiv. In this new position with Heritage Home, he will lead and direct all strategic information technology initiatives.
