About the Person
Ruthanne Largent is the Chief Information Officer for Horizon Global, effective July, 2016. She leads all Information Technology (IT) activities and will integrate the business via applications and infrastructure, in support of the corporate goals and aligned with compliance requirements. Prior to joining Horizon Global, Mrs. Largent was the Assistant Vice President, I.T., for MGM Grand Casino/Hotel Detroit where she was responsible for the operation of the previous MGM Grand Casino while building the current property, moving the business and staff to the current property, closing the previous property and then operating the current expanded business. Ms. Largent has more than 30 years’ experience leading operational teams, directing and implementing complex, large-scale projects, managing budgets, defining and improving business processes and procedures, and establishing operational standards. Her previous positions include: Director, Operations and Network Services for a Major Retailer, Director of I.T. for a Manufacturing Development Software company, and 17 years of experience at Electronic Data Systems (EDS) where her various roles included: Global Network Services Manager (Delphi), Senior Integrator (GM), Xerox Network Operations Manager, and Global Delivery Officer. Ms. Largent has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan, Dearborn, and is a current board member of Society of Information Management (SIM) and a member of Michigan Council of Women in Technology (MCWT).
