About the Person

Roger Jarquin manages the Wynyard Group Crime Science Research Centre and is responsible for innovation, technology research and product development. Roger brings deep experience in data storage and distributed computation from Jade Software Corporation and leads a multidisciplinary team working in the application of predictive analytics and machine learning. He has previously held senior research and software development roles with Burroughs and UNISYS Corporation. Roger has performed the roles of visiting industry professional adviser to the University of Canterbury and Chair of Software Engineering Advisory Board and was a prime mover in establishing the NZi3 Innovation Institute.
