About the Person

Robert Taylor serves as the senior vice president of Information Technology and the chief information officer for Fluor Corporation, responsible for the company’s global IT Operations and Technical and Business Integration Services. IT Operations includes the delivery of IT Helpdesk, desk side support, network services, and data center services. Technical Services includes the functional and procedural ownership of infrastructure systems, including wide area network, server and application virtualization, and unified communications. Business Integration Services provides a dedicated interface from IT management to senior members of Fluor’s engineering, procurement, construction, and maintenance services. Since joining Fluor Corporation in 1992, Mr. Taylor has held a variety of IT management positions including Director of Applications Management Services, Director of IT Strategy and Technical Director for Fluor’s ERP implementation. Mr. Taylor has more than 20 years’ experience in computing and automation. Prior to joining Fluor, he held various structural engineering and design positions in Australia. Mr. Taylor was the 2013 chair of the Leadership Development Forum, chartered to focus on acceleration of leadership throughout the company.
