Jamie Roser was previously Vice President at Alterra Capital, which Markel acquired earlier this year. Before that, he spent nearly 10 years at The Travelers in various leadership roles, including Vice President of Information Systems, CIO for Bond and Financial Products Business and Commercial Insurance Program Office/Merger Integration Lead. He also worked in the Insurance and Financial Services Practice at Accenture, the global technology and business process consultancy. Roser earned his bachelor's degree, cum laude, from Colgate University and a master's degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is based in the Boston office of Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance.
