About the Person
Piyush K. Singh CPCU has been Vice President at American Financial Group Inc. since January 2006 and served as its Chief Information Officer. Mr. Singh serves as Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of Great American Insurance Company. Mr. Singh served as Chief Information Officer of RLI Corp. since January 8, 2004. Mr. Singh joined RLI Corp. in 1994 from the financial services sector of Price Waterhouse (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers), where he was a part of the management consulting services group. Mr. Singh's prior experience includes working with Australia and New Zealand Bank, as well as with Citicorp as part of its information technology consulting units. He also worked on several financial services projects in the United Kingdom, Greece, Australia, Singapore, the Middle East and India. He was promoted to RLI assistant vice president in 1998, and to vice president, information technology, in 2000. Mr. Singh is a proven technology professional, and has 12 years of insurance industry-specific experience to this position, much of it related to transformation of front office insurance operations. He served as Director at Clio Infotech Ltd. Mr. Singh attained his CPCU designation and completed the Advanced Executive Education program offered by the AICPCU at the Wharton School of Business. Mr. Singh earned a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Physics from Hindu College, Delhi, a Masters in Computer Applications from University of Delhi, India, and a Masters of Business Administration from Bradley University in Peoria, IL.
