About the Person

Mueller is Chief Information Officer of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, a financial services enterprise with dual corporate headquarters in Minneapolis, Minnesota and Appleton, Wisconsin. He is responsible for all information technology functions and is a member of Thrivent Financial’s Senior Leadership team. Mueller was appointed to the position in July 2012, three years after he joined Thrivent Financial as Vice President, Technology Services, where he was responsible for the delivery of enterprise technology, engineering, information and security services supporting both corporate and field sales functions. Prior to Thrivent, Mueller spent more than 16 years with Schneider National Inc., a leading North American truckload carrier and global logistics provider, in a variety of IT leadership roles. He has also held positions with NCR Corporation, AT&T, and Manitowoc Company Inc., where he began his career in 1979 in the IT department.
