The Charlotte Host Committee, CLT Host 2020, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) not for profit economic development organization with no political affiliation. CLT Host 2020, Inc. is responsible for hosting and funding the 2020 Republican National Convention to be held in Charlotte, North Carolina from August 24 - 27, 2020. As an economic development organization, CLT Host 2020, Inc. will highlight the Queen City`s premier business environment which supports the skilled and diverse workforce responsible for the region`s growth in national and international corporate offices and local businesses. The Charlotte region, North Carolina, and South Carolina offer an undeniable energy, full of passionate people from all walks of life whose differences make our communities stronger. CLT Host 2020, Inc. aims to showcase these characteristics and how our residents have created a world-class convention and event destination that attracts sporting events, corporate functions, and international art and musical tours. CLT Host 2020, Inc. is excited for the 2020 Republican National Convention and the positive experience it will bring for Charlotte, our community, and everyone involved – residents, businesses, and guests. This event will be a tremendous undertaking and will require committed volunteers from across the region, our two states, and the nation. The District of Lake Country is located near the centre of the Okanagan Valley and is made up of four distinct neighbourhood communities: Oyama, Winfield, Carr's Landing and Okanagan Centre. Lake Country is a beautiful, unique place, rich in its own cultural history. The District was incorporated as a municipality on May 2, 1995. Shortly after incorporation, a referendum was held and the residents decided to maintain their four, distinct neighbourhood communities. The result was the formation of the only municipality in British Columbia that currently utilizes a neighbourhood constituency system. This allows each of the four neighbourhood communities to elect one Councillor, with the mayor and two councillors-at-large being elected by all the residents of the District.
To work together cooperatively and efficiently for and with all citizens to provide a safe, clean and attractive community that includes full and open access to basic services, education programs, and cultural and recreational facilities that enhance the excellent quality of life for residents, potential residents, and visitors. Through efficiencies and by careful prioritization of projects, programs, and activities, to operate City government at a reasonable property tax level. To provide a pro-business, pro growth, pro-development environment to assist in attracting new residents, visitors, and business to Hastings. To provide a City government that is open to new ideas, honest in its dealings with all persons, and sincere in its willingness to listen to comments, suggestions, and constructive criticism from community members. To recognize and embrace cultural diversity in our community, and provide opportunities for all people to full participate in and contribute to the civic and social life of our community. To provide opportunities for, and instill a sense of community ownership and pride. To project a positive, progressive, forward-thinking image.

Caldwell County strongly endorses a more rigorous and relevant curriculum that forms the foundation on which we • develop a stable and viable economy of industry, retail, and commerce by utilizing our Economic Development Grant Program. The County acknowledges the challenges of a knowledge-based economy which requires a strong leadership role in all potential economic development projects that will • support job retention and job creation through diversification in new and expanding businesses such that Caldwell County citizens can realize the “American Dream”. The American Dream not only includes home ownership but also a clean and green environment. Development of a bio-mass/alternative fuel initiative will improve the quality of air while the construction of a water reservoir in the Yadkin River Valley will provide a greater abundance of clean water.
Township of Edwardsburgh/Cardinal, with a population of 6,900 is located in Eastern Ontario, Canada. The Municipality borders the majestic St. Lawrence River Seaway to the south, and includes the industrial Village of Cardinal and the historic seat of municipal government, the Village of Spencerville, as well as numerous rural hamlets. Located at the intersection of arterial Highways 401 and 416, E/C is less than an hour drive from the cities of Kingston, Cornwall, and Ottawa, the nation`s capital.
