The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) was officially established in 1967 by combining formerly independent agencies and the Department of Motor Vehicles (which included the State Highway Commission, State Aeronautics Commission and State Patrol). The Ohio Health Information Partnership is a nonprofit entity whose mission is to assist physicians and other providers with the adoption and implement of health information technology (HIT) throughout Ohio. The Partnership created CliniSync - Ohio`s statewide health information exchange - to electronically connect hospitals, physicians and others who care for patients through a secure network. Currently, 150 hospitals are contracted with 131 live on the network, connecting thousands of physicians, clinicians, long-term and post-acute care facilities, behavioral health, laboratories, pharmacists and others involved in patient care.
