In 1970, concerned parents, family members and business leaders in Spokane organized the Pre-Vocational Training Center to provide services to Spokane-area adults with developmental, physical and mental disabilities. In 2004, the company name was changed to Skils`kin, a Native American word that means "a place where a person goes to seek personal identity and self-empowerment." Skils`kin is a community-based, not-for-profit agency. Working with national and local businesses, we are able to assist people with a wide variety of disabilities to become more self-reliant and economically self-sufficient.
The mission of the Department of Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) is to collaborate with all levels of government to provide excellent technology services, empowering the citizens of Wyoming to live and work more securely, efficiently and productively. ETS employs close to 250 employees, which are located across Cheyenne and throughout the State. The main office is located at the Emerson Building in Cheyenne.

At the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV), we come into contact with nearly every Floridian as well as many visitors to our state. People get a driver license to operate their vehicles or for photo identification purposes. They register and title their automobiles, mobile homes, and boats. They may receive assistance from the Florida Highway Patrol if they are involved in a crash or their vehicle breaks down along Florida`s highways. Often the Patrol will remind drivers to slow down and buckle up. There is more to DHSMV than meets the eye. Our mission is to provide highway safety and security through excellence in service, education and enforcement. Our department members around the state are dedicated to accomplishing this mission.
