The California Department of Justice protects the citizens of California and by carrying out the responsibilities of the Attorney General through several main divisions and bureaus. The department operates statewide with major offices in Sacramento, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Oakland, San Diego and Fresno.
The Tennessee Supreme Court is the state`s court of last resort. The five Supreme Court justices may accept appeals of civil and criminal cases from lower state courts. They also interpret the laws and constitutions of Tennessee and the United States. The Supreme Court may assume jurisdiction over undecided cases in the Court of Appeals or Court of Criminal Appeals when there is special need for an expedited decision.
The Business and Commercial Services division provides a wide range of services to individuals and companies who conduct business within Arkansas, whether they’re based inside the state or elsewhere. The BCS division combines several departments under one convenient umbrella to streamline customer service.
