About the Person
As Questar’s Chief Technology Officer, Nate Ober provides a broad vision for our product development that includes innovating in automation, customization, and reusable processes and software systems, and leads teams in the areas of technology, infrastructure, and quality analysis. He brings over 10 years of experience as an IT developer and has a proven track record of leading innovative teams in the engineering of educational technology tools and platforms. Before joining Questar, Nate served as a senior technical project manager for the American Institutes for Research (AIR), and held several positions with the State of Utah leading the development of formative and summative assessment platforms. Nate received his degree from the University of Utah, and has contributed to the aQTI standard as a member of the IMS Global Learning Consortium. He is based at Questar’s headquarters in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
