About the Person

Michael L. (Mike) Martiny is Vice-President, Information Systems with responsibility for leading the global information technology and systems function for General Mills. Mike began his career as a Project Engineer at Kraft before joining Pillsbury in 1992. He became a Vice-President in 1995 with roles in International Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain and Information Systems. Mike joined General Mills as part of the Pillsbury acquisition in 2001 as Vice President, Operations Engineering. Prior to joining IS, Mike was Vice-President, Supply Chain Strategic Initiatives, Global Sourcing Development. Mike is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and is an active board member for The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities .
