About the Person

Michele Markham serves as senior vice president and chief information officer (CIO) for  HD Supply. In this role, she oversees the strategy, development and operation of all  systems supporting HD Supply business and functional processes. Leveraging enterprise  applications and infrastructure, she and her team enable business growth through  simplification for improved customer service, digitization for business process efficiency,  system integration for cost productivity and innovation that provides competitive advantage.    Prior to joining the company in 2005, Michele built a successful 18-year career with General  Electric (GE), holding a variety of finance, business and IT leadership positions across  multiple company divisions. These roles included Global Indirect Sourcing Leader –  Infrastructure Division and SVP & CIO, Equipment Services – TIP-Mod Space. Her career  also includes serving in various finance and information technology leadership roles for GE  Appliances, as well as finance, sales and IT roles with GE Plastics. She is also a graduate  of the GE Financial Management Program (FMP) and the GE Experienced Finance  Leadership Program (EFLP).    Michele holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Siena College and a master’s  degree in finance from Union College.
