Industry veteran Mark Monroe, former Executive Director of the Green Grid, has been appointed Chief Technology Officer and VP at data center design firm DLB Associates, the company said this week. Monroe most recently served as founder and President of Energetic Consulting, Inc., a successful consulting business centering on data center energy efficiency, renewable energy and IT consulting. He also spent 17 years in a range of leadership positions at Sun Microsystems, Inc. including several director roles in IT operations, cloud computing, Eco responsibility, and software development.
