About the Person

Kumar Srinivasan served as the Chief Technology Officer of Nordstrom Inc. from March 2016 to January 2017. Mr. Srinivasan helps lead the next phase of innovation and growth focused on identifying and developing opportunities that deliver a competitive advantage and bottom-line returns. In this role, Mr. Srinivasan focuses on identifying opportunities to reduce complexity while optimizing engineering and software productivity and effectiveness across four Nordstrom Technology teams that support Nordstrom`s Service & Experience, Loyalty & Marketing, Engineering and Supply Chain initiatives. He has more than 18 years of technology and product management experience. He co-founded Evocalize, Inc. in 2012 and served as its Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Srinivasan served as Chief Technology Officer of Bazaarvoice, Inc. since November 28, 2011. Mr. Srinivasan served as Chief Product & Technology Officer of Bazaarvoice, Inc. He was responsible for continuing to innovate Bazaarvoice`s architecture that includes data centers, cloud computing and network management; a secure centralized source control management system; and proprietary data analytics. As Chief Product and Technology Officer at Lockerz.com, he led its overall product and technology vision, commercial software product development and delivery. Over the course of career, Mr. Srinivasan was the forefront of getting some of the most exciting advancements in online technologies to customers, including e-commerce payment systems, social media and web services. Previously, he served as Vice President and General Manager at Amazon.com where he directed, managed and coordinated the business development, execution and global operations of Amazon Payments Web Services, Merchant and Developer Solutions. He held technology leadership positions with leading consumer brands, including Travelocity.com, Drugstore.com, Blockbuster Inc. and Wal-Mart Inc. He serves as a Director of Evocalize, Inc. He holds bachelor’s degree in physics from Madurai Kamraj University in India, earned a diploma in computers from Software Solutions Integrated and received an advanced master’s degree in globally distributed work from the Indian Institute of Management.
