Winston Salem, NC-based Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools has Promoted Kevin Sherrill as Director of Technology
Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools formed in 1963 with the merger of the Winston-Salem and Forsyth County school systems. It is the fourth-largest system in North Carolina and the 81st largest in the nation.
Kevin Sherrill has been the district’s director of information technology since 2007. Before coming to the district, Sherrill spent 10 years working in IT for the private sector. He also served as the director of information technology for the Mooresville Graded School District and taught computer science in Mooresville. Sherrill earned a bachelor’s degree in business education from Appalachian State University and a master’s degree in instructional systems technology from UNC Charlotte.
