About the Person

Chaitali Sengupta is the chief technology officer (CTO) of SEVEN Networks. She is responsible for product strategy, system architecture, and new technology. She also leads product management, whose responsibilities include product roadmaps and new product requirements. Previously, Sengupta was CTO and co-founder of SNRLabs, where she led the development of software to help mobile operators manage network access selection and Wi-Fi offloading. SNRLabs was acquired by SEVEN Networks in early 2013, and its Wi-Fi QoE and Seamless Mobility products have been incorporated into the SEVEN Networks Open Channel product line. Before that Sengupta was a distinguished member of the technical staff at Texas Instruments, and was named to the MIT Technology Review's list of the 100 Top Innovators Under 35. She holds a PhD in electrical engineering from Rice University, where she received the Outstanding Young Engineering Alumni Award, and earned a bachelor of technology degree in computer science and engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology at Kharagpur.
