About the Person

Justin McCarthy brings an energetic brand of technology leadership to the Preact team. Justin’s architectural aesthetic and management instincts have been annealed by over $1B in e-commerce transacted by systems he designed and teams he built. Justin was most recently VP of Engineering at Rafter, where he was responsible for the Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams. Prior to Rafter, Justin served in Engineering Management and Product roles at CafePress.com. As Product Line Manager, he was responsible for the vision, product, and launch of the Groups product. Before CafePress, Justin held numerous engineering, product, and founding roles at growing start-ups throughout Silicon Valley and New England. Prior to his work in industry, Justin studied Computer Science at the University of Rochester.
