About the Person
Jon Morris is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Medicine and completed post-graduate training at the University of Texas Medical Branch. He is board-certified in emergency medicine and has been an emergency department physician since 1986 at WellStar Kennestone Hospital. He holds a master's degree in business administration from Kennesaw State University. Morris became WellStar’s first chief medical information officer in 2009 and became CIO in December 2011.
