Huntington, WV-based Marshall University has Promoted Jon Cutler as Chief Information Security Officer
Named after John Marshall, the great Chief Justice of the United States, Marshall Academy was established in 1837. Marshall became a university in 1961 and has since grown tremendously, particularly in the 1990`s which saw the construction of the state-of-the-art Drinko Library, Jomie Jazz Center and the addition of the Graduate College.
Jon Cutler currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at Marshall University in Huntington, WV. He has served in various lead technology roles in Manufacturing and for the past 18 years in Higher Education. In his current role, he is responsible for managing the campus IT Information Security Program as well as an active participant in a variety of emerging technology projects including Identity and Access Management. Jonâs interests and experience includes identity and access management, endpoint security and device management, virtualization (both datacenter and client), network security/vulnerability assessment, and IT project management.
