Tallahassee, FL-based Agency for State Technology, Florida Resigned Jason Allison as State Chief Information Officer
The Agency for State Technology was established in 2014 by the Florida Legislature to oversee the state`s essential technology projects and house Florida`s Chief Information Officer. The agency will manage over $73 million per year in IT spending while maximizing resources, saving taxpayer dollars and delivering more efficient and effective constituent services in the Sunshine State.
Jason Allison, who starts the position March 8, was responsible for the management and direction of technology programs, services and policies during his time as chief information officer. Previously, he served as executive director of the Florida Agency for State Technology, which develops and publishes information technology policy for the state and oversees its essential technology projects.
