Chad Eckes has been named the new vice president and chief information officer for Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center beginning in March. Eckes will provide strategic leadership and vision to guide information-technology efforts and will support quality service and analytic capabilities to the clinical, research and academic missions of the Medical Center. He is currently the chief strategy officer for Cancer Treatment Centers of America.
