The Sr. Vice President Marketing & Business Development/CMO serves as a leader in developing business and marketing opportunities for the organization. The Chief Marketing Officer helps develops new products, works in planning and execution of marketing strategies, and ensures outreach and revenue benchmarks are met. As a member of the Executive Team, this position develops strategies to build the company`s customer/referral base, identify potential partners, and implements strategies to achieve the company`s goals. 1. Provides the leadership necessary to develop an innovation environment while managing priorities, resources, decision clarity, and business development processes to achieve Hosparus` goals and objectives.

3. Analyzes major competitors` strategies, identifies and monitors changing patterns of competition, and recommends appropriate changes.

7. Develops speeches, presentations, and news releases for the President/CEO, and acts as the publication relations representative for the organization.
8. Plan, draft and execute crisis communication plans as needed.
9. Communicates Journey for Excellence information through monthly newsletter column and by assisting the CEO with the State of the Union presentations.
QUALITY & COMPLIANCE: Responsible for the departmental quality and organizational compliance activities.
1. Responsible for having a thorough understanding of the regulations that affect Hosparus and practices in accordance with these regulations; ensures compliance with organizational policies and procedures and Federal/State regulations).
2. Develops and maintains an environment that promotes continuous quality improvement, including an atmosphere where problems are discussed openly, facts are acknowledged and data is used to measure outcomes.
3. Responsible for upholding Compliance Program guidelines, including promoting confidentiality of protected health information and reporting breaches/potential breaches to the Privacy Officer.
4. Ensures a culture of compliance, accountability and excellence is maintained to achieve expected business and business outcomes.
5. Maintains a thorough knowledge of and ensures compliance with Company and local policies, procedures, processes, and protocols.
STRATEGIC PLANNING- Develops, implements and communicates strategic and organizational goals, while adhering to department specific initiatives.
1. Develop pricing strategies and media relations plan, balancing firm objectives and customer satisfaction.
2. Plan, direct and set the strategic direction of marketing and business development initiatives within an organization
3. Work collaboratively with the Director of Outreach to develop creative outreach strategies to attract and retain clients.
4. Reviews financials/MVI monthly and evaluates options to adjust staffing and other expenses, to achieve MVI model. Collaborates with development, outreach and community leaders to obtain most cost efficient and impactful use of marketing budgets
5. Develop and maintain relationships with decision makers of new and existing clients, and media outlets.
6. Acts as a resource in providing assistance to the Managers of Community Outreach for territory management, specifically related to account prioritization, account qualification, and account plans.
7. Assists in identifying/monitoring changes in referral and admission patterns within the organizational territories.
8. Collaborates with Human Resources in the execution of workforce development funding and talent attraction.
9. Routinely conducts financial analysis of acquisition opportunities in support of the Hosparus strategic plan and opening/developing new markets (geographic and product development).
10. Develops high level marketing and brand strategy in line with the strategic vision of theorganization.
11. Assists the President/CEO in developing general policies and procedures for the management of Hosparus, developing and deploying strategic programs and planning for organic and transactional growth.
12. Participates in the Hosparus Board of Directors Meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, LICENSE and SKILLS:
• Bachelor`s Degree in Business or Marketing required. MBA or other Masters degree preferred.
• A Minimum of 8 - 10 years of professional work experience in Marketing & sales, business development, and client relationship management.
• Ability to handle many duties at a time in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
• Must possess independent critical thinking and creative problem solving skills.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills, good business judgment, high oral and written communication skills, and excellent strategy development abilities.
