Clean the World is a social enterprise with the mission of saving millions of lives around the world. Clean the World leads a Global Hygiene Revolution to distribute recycled soap and hygiene products from more than 2,000 hotel and resort partners to children and families in countries with a high death rate due to acute respiratory infection (pneumonia) and diarrheal diseases (cholera) – which are two of the top killers of children under 5. Goodwill of Southern Nevada, Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides education, employment and training for people with disabilities and other special needs to maximize the quality of life for each individual served. We support our mission though a process called "The Cycle of Giving". This means that we take donations from local Nevadans, items such as clothes, home goods, furniture and more, and sell in in our retail stores, online, and to recyclers/salvage buyers. The funds generated through the sale of these donated items are then used to fund job training and placement programs for local adults, veterans, and youth. Additionally, we have an active fund development/grant department and several annual special events that support our programs as well.
