The mission of the High Country Workforce Development Board (HCWDB) is to help employers meet their workforce needs, help individuals build careers, strengthen the local economy, and meet the challenges of the global competition. Our work reaches people who include adults seeking more meaningful careers, dislocated workers aiming to regain employment, and youth focused on getting the right start in life. We also represent employers from a broad range of leading industries that need workers with the training, skills and dedication to produce important products and services for a global marketplace. Horizons for Homeless Children is one of the few organizations in Massachusetts focused exclusively on the needs of young homeless children and their families. Today, we provide high-quality early education, opportunities for play, and family engagement services to more than 2,000 homeless children each week in Massachusetts.

The Highlands Council is a 15-member appointed body tasked with implementation of the New Jersey Highlands Water Protection and Planning Act of 2004. The Highlands Council is advised in its actions by its Executive Director, who serves as the chief administrative officer of the Council. The Executive Director is assisted by and oversees the operations of a professional staff of planners, science experts, geographic information specialists and administrative personnel, based in Chester, NJ.
