About the Company

About the Person
Prior to joining NewDon Desiderato has been Chief Technology Officer - Investments Group and Senior Managing Director - Investments Group of New York Life Insurance Co. since February 28, 2013. Mr. Desiderato was a Principal of Novarica`s insurance practice. His areas of expertise include core systems for life and annuity insurers. He also provides broad Information Technology expertise including variable and blended staffing models, strategic global sourcing, IT management, IT strategic planning, and IT organizational leadership. He held divisional Chief Information Officer roles at Prudential and ING as well as various IT leadership positions at Citigroup/Travelers. He led significant transformational IT projects both domestically and internationally. He started his IT career over 20 years ago with experience in Financial Services and Healthcare.
