The Township is 23.0 square miles. The Township is served by six postal zip codes: Blackwood, (Turnersville) 08012, Glassboro 08028, Grenloch 08032, Pitman 08071, Sicklerville 08081, and Sewell 08080. Washington Township is conveniently located on the N-S Freeway (State Highway 42) at the beginning of the Atlantic City Expressway. Less than 10 minutes away are: Interstate Routes 295, 95, 676, and the New Jersey Turnpike. Local train service is available from nearby Woodbury or the Lindenwold High Speed Line which is operated by PATCO.
