The Indiana University Police Department is a full service law enforcement agency which serves the needs of the Indiana University campuses. The IU Police Department in Bloomington employs 45 full-time sworn police officers as well as several part-time police officers and student cadets. The Public Prosecution Service of Canada (PPSC) is a national, independent and accountable prosecuting authority whose main objective is to prosecute federal offences and provide legal advice and assistance to law enforcement agencies. The PPSC prosecutes cases under federal statutes that are referred to it by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), other federal investigative agencies, and provincial and municipal police forces.
