About the Person
Bernard M Byrne joined eZCom in March 2001 and serves as Chief Technology Officer. He has assumed a leading role in shaping retailing technology over the past 25 years. He focused on computer programming as a teenager and on computer science studies at Seton Hall University, then served as an EDI and Logistics executive for major retailers like Bob’s, KMART, and Lechter’s. Bernie also worked as an EDI consultant for the pharmaceutical and book publishing industries. Representing KMART and Bob’s, he helped create the VICS standards for the EDI industry, and served as chair of the VICS EDI architecture committee before joining the team at eZCom. Bernie is married with two children. He is actively involved in freemasonry, and in playing baseball with his grandson.
