ounded in 1860, New York Medical College (NYMC) is one of the oldest and largest health sciences colleges in the U.S. with more than 1,400 students, 1,300 residents and clinical fellows, nearly 3,000 faculty members, and 16,000 living alumni. The College, which joined the Touro College and University System in 2011, is located in Westchester County, New York, and offers advanced degrees from the School of Medicine, the Graduate School of Basic Medical Sciences, and the School of Health Sciences and Practice. The College manages more than $32.6 million in research and other sponsored programs, notably in the areas of cancer, cardiovascular disease, infectious diseases, kidney disease, the neurosciences, disaster medicine, and vaccine development. Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T) is a world-class technological research university. Founded in 1870 as one of the first technological schools west of the Mississippi, Missouri S&T offers a broad array of degrees in engineering, the sciences, business, information technology, the humanities and liberal arts, and education -- all in an environment that emphasizes technological literacy. We were originally known as the University of Missouri School of Mines and Metallurgy (Missouri School of Mines or MSM), then the University of Missouri-Rolla (UMR). In 2008, we became Missouri S&T.
Gammon/ITC is fully accredited by the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada and by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The University of Redlands is a private liberal arts and sciences university located in Redlands, California, United States. The university's main campus is situated on 160 acres (65 ha) near downtown Redlands. Founded in 1907 as a Baptist institution, the school is now independent and ended compulsory religious services in 1972, although it maintains an informal relationship with the group American Baptist Churches USA. In 2012, U.S. News and World Report ranked Redlands 11th among regional universities in the western United States, and in 2010 it was rated 7th in the western United States for its Master's degree programs. The University of Redlands had its roots in the founding of two other American Baptist institutions, California College in Oakland, and Los Angeles University. After the San Francisco earthquake of 1906 damaged the finances of California College, a Baptist commission began exploring the liquidation of both institutions to develop a new institution in Southern California. The Reverend Jasper Newton Field, a Baptist pastor at Redlands, persuaded the Redlands Board of Trade to propose a donation of at least 100,000 dollars and 40 acres (16 ha) for an interdenominational campus (on land donated by layman Mr. K.C. Wells). On June 27, 1907 the Commission voted all in favor of the Redlands proposal.
