About the Company

Founded in 2012 EcoPesticides International Inc. develops novel biologic-based pesticides that stop defined pest species that threaten crops without harm to people or the environment. The company’s microbial pesticide technology was developed at the University of New Mexico and licensed through STC  

 

About the Person

Adam Forshaw is the co-inventor of EcoPesticides’ encapsulation technology, leveraging his expertise in the areas of microencapsulation and biopolymer manipulations. Forshaw earned his MSc in Inorganic Chemistry from New Mexico State University in 2007. He is pursuing a dual MD/PhD from the University of New Mexico (UNM) with an emphasis in biopolymer chemistry and engineering for biomedical applications. At UNM, he serves as a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Research Fellow, a position he has held for three years.
