Most recently, Zahid Afzal was Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Huntington Bank, where his responsibilities included information technology, business operations, electronic channels, M&A integration and change management. Prior to this position, he served Bank of America as Senior Vice President and CIO of the Consumer and Small Business Banking segment. Previously Mr. Afzal held various leadership positions with Citicorp, Broadslate Networks, an internet access and data communications provider, and MCI Communications. Among other technology industry recognition and awards, Mr. Afzal has been included in ComputerWorld's Top 100 CIOs and in CIO.com's CIO 100.
