We are an international non-profit that brings people together to fight avoidable blindness. With our network of partners we mentor, train and inspire local teams to fight blindness in their communities. We believe that no one should live a life of unnecessary blindness, simply because of where they were born.

Founded in 1899, the Western Golf Association conducts championships for professional and amateur golfers, promotes the use of caddies, and oversees the Evans Scholars Foundation, which awards college scholarships to caddies with limited financial means. The WGA conducts two amateur championships, the Western Junior and the Western Amateur, and runs the BMW Championship, the third of four PGA TOUR Playoff events. Headquartered in Golf, Illinois, the organization also supports the nationally acclaimed Chick Evans Caddie Scholarship Program. The WGA champions education through golf in sponsoring the Evans Scholars Program. Established by the WGA and famed amateur golfer Charles “Chick” Evans, Jr., it provides full housing and tuition scholarships to deserving caddies across the country. Currently, 935 caddies are attending college on scholarship; there are more than 10,000 Evans Scholars Alumni across the country.

Founded in 1939, Heart of Florida United Way is Central Florida`s largest supporter of local health and human service agencies. In 2014-2015, it managed more than $26 million dollars in total resources, including over $18 million raised during the annual campaign that helps fund nearly 60 local health and human service programs. It also operates the United Way 2-1-1 Information and Assistance helpline, the EITC tax credit initiative, Mission United, Destination Graduation, the Volunteer Resource Center, the Gifts-in-Kind Center, the Ryan White Part B/General Revenue Program and Emergency & Homelessness Services.
