About the Person
William Eline is Vice PrWilliam Eline is a thirty-seven year veteran of the Parker Hannifin Corporation. As Parker`s Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Bill is responsible for the corporate planning and deployment of information solutions for the company`s worldwide operations through a center-led strategic approach. He also oversees the execution of the IT Career Model, staff structure and talent development process for the IT professionals across Parker. During his tenure at Parker, Bill has held positions in materials control, accounting and information system management. He has been an IT leader at the division, group and corporate levels. Prior to his appointment to CIO, Bill completed a four-year foreign assignment where he worked with the corporate IT teams in Europe to establish enterprise system support capabilities for Parker`s international operations. Bill currently serves on the advisory boards of several technology companies and works closely with the universities in the Greater Cleveland, Ohio area to promote majors related to information technologies and business administration. Bill holds a bachelor of science in accounting from John Carroll University and a master of business administration from Kent State University. Bill is an Army R.O.T.C. graduate and served six years in the Ohio National Guardesident and Chief Information Officer at Parker.
