The Invictus Foundation`s mission is to increase and improve behavioral health services for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Associated Brain Injury (ABI), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), suicide prevention, depression, alcohol and substance abuse, domestic violence, relationship issues, Military Sexual Trauma (MST), rehabilitation/aftercare (community integration) and pre/post deployment screening to this Country`s military, veterans, their families and families of the fallen. Lighthouse Youth Services is a multiservice agency providing social services to children, youth and families in southwestern Ohio. Operating since 1969, Lighthouse is nationally recognized as an innovator in services for families in crisis, for homeless youth and young adults, for youth learning to become self-sufficient, and in foster care for abused or neglected children. Lighthouse operates the area`s only direct access, around the clock sanctuary for homeless, abused, neglected or abandoned youth; the only state-supported private juvenile corrections program for serious juvenile felons; and is the largest provider of foster care in Hamilton County. In all, Lighthouse operates 19 different programs, including a charter school. At any given time there are over 550 children, youth and families in Lighthouse residential care. Each day Lighthouse staff members serve over 2,000 children and families through its community based services. Last year, the agency served over 5,000 young people and families. Central to their lives are concerns about homelessness, hunger, loneliness and safety.
Communication Service for the Deaf, Inc. (CSD) is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to creating and providing technologies and services that benefit the deaf and hard of hearing community. CSD`s mission is to create greater opportunities for deaf and hard of hearing individuals to reach their full potential. Through global leadership and the development of innovative technologies, CSD provides tools conducive to a positive and fully integrated life. CSD helps break through the barriers created for deaf and hard of hearing people due to lack of communication access. We understand the importance of effective communication, and we appreciate the value of a qualified interpreter. With staff who know the needs of the deaf and hard of hearing firsthand, CSD has been a leading human services and technology innovator from the very beginning.
