About the Person

Wendy C. Chang was appointed recently as Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Chief Information Officer and Vice Provost for Information Technology. Dr. Chang has had a stellar career in the field of information technology in business and higher education. Prior to her post at MDC, she served as Chief Information Officer for the Connecticut State Colleges and Universities System, Southern Connecticut State University and Indiana University East. She previously was a systems architect for Xerox Corporation and the Moore Research Center, among other positions. Dr. Chang holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the State University of New York, Buffalo, an M.S. in Computer and Information Science from Cleveland State University, an M.S. in Systems and Control Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, and a B.S. in Control Engineering from National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan. She began her new position at MDC on November 15.
