About the Person

A 33-year Disney vet, Vince Roberts joined Disney Channel prior to its 1983 launch as a staff engineer, and went on to led DATG’s operational and technological strategies, assuming his current role in 2010. Roberts and his team led development of cloud-based and file-based workflows supporting both linear broadcast operations and digital media delivery. Roberts co-chaired the FCC`s Video Programming Accessibility Committee on Internet closed captioning. He also served as chairman of the executive board of the Entertainment Technology Center at the University of Southern California (ETC @ USC), and recently received its Bob Lambert Technology Leadership Award.
