The Arizona Strategic Enterprise Technology (ASET) Office for the State of Arizona provides innovative and transformative services statewide. Our mission is to deliver forward-thinking and secure IT solutions across state agencies, boards and commissions that ultimately bring value to Arizona citizens. ASET was formed in 2011 as a way to make Arizona government tech-focused, leaner, more efficient, innovative and sustainable working within a federated model with over 130 state agencies. In alignment with the strategic missions of state agencies, ASET develops and executes statewide IT strategies while providing capabilities, services and infrastructure to ensure the continuity of mission critical and essential systems for the state of Arizona. The goal of ASET is to transform Arizona into a national leader of advanced IT strategies, methodologies, services and business processes. The State of Arizona Cybersecurity Team is also a part of the ASET Office.
The mission of the Auditor of Public Accounts` office is to provide independent, accurate, and timely audits, reviews, or investigations of the financial operations of Nebraska State and local governments. We will provide this information, as required by statute, to all policymakers and taxpayers through written reports and our Internet based Budget and Audit databases. We will maintain a professionally prepared staff, utilizing up to date technology, and following current Government Auditing Standards.
GENESEE COUNTY is located in western New York State. The County is 550 square miles with a population of 60,370 as of the 2000 census. The County is divided into thirteen towns, six villages and the City of Batavia, the county seat. Genesee County is located midway between the major urban areas of Rochester and Buffalo. Except for Batavia, the County is quite rural. Genesee County has New York State`s highest percentage of classified farmland, three of the top 100 vegetable farms nationwide and is first in agriculture sales statewide. More that two-thirds of Genesee County`s acreage is used for agriculture and employs more than 1,500 workers. The county also has rich mineral deposits of gypsum, limestone, natural gas and salt. Hundreds of small business are scattered throughout Genesee County; the top eleven manufactures employ between 200 to 400 workers each. Genesee County is a non-chartered county and the government consists of the elected nine-member Genesee County Legislature and the appointed County Manager who is responsible for overseeing and coordinating 28 County Departments. Genesee County also operates Genesee County Airport, Genesee County Nursing Home, Genesee County Forest and Parks, and supports the Holland Land Museum and the Genesee Chamber of Commerce. The County operates on a calendar fiscal year.
