Opened in 1971, Paul D. Camp Community College is a two-year public educational institution with campuses in Franklin and Suffolk, and a Center in Smithfield, VA. With the mission of providing diverse learning opportunities to enhance the quality of life for students and the community, the College offers a wide array of educational opportunities and workforce training. Educational opportunities include: Associate degrees, career studies certificates in transfer and career/technical programs; credit and non-credit workforce services; training for businesses and industries; and special interest classes for the community.
Established in 1995, the Berman Institute now consists of more than 35 faculty from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, School of Nursing, Bloomberg School of Public Health, Paul H.
