About the Person
In this new role, Ms. Mackechnie will be responsible for leading the firm’s Information Technology team globally, including IT infrastructure, application development, quality assurance and cybersecurity functions. Ms. Mackechnie, who brings more than 25 years of technology experience to her new role, is a proven enterprise technology leader with deep expertise in supporting global businesses with sophisticated IT infrastructures. Prior to joining HarbourVest, Ms. Mackechnie most recently served as Senior Vice President and CIO for The Hartford, where she provided leadership for an operations and IT workforce and crafted IT solutions to achieve higher levels of speed and scale. Previously, she held various senior level technology, operations, consulting, and project management positions at The Hartford, ING and Accenture. Ms. Mackechnie received her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Northeastern University.
