The SCAN Foundation, led by President and CEO Sarita A. Mohanty, MD, MPH, MBA, is dedicated to creating a society where older adults can access health and supportive services of their choosing to meet their needs.
Since 1982, Project Transition has provided hope and healing to adults with serious mental illness. Our members are part of a residential treatment community that promotes sustainable recovery. Each of our six locations is situated in an attractive apartment complex and located in the Southeastern Pennsylvania region.
Whitefoord was founded in 1995 by Dr. George W. Brumley and his former student, Dr. Veda Johnson, to address the health and educational needs of the children and families of the surrounding school district. Today, Whitefoord serves more than 2500 families and children in Southeast Atlanta through its Federally-Qualified Community Health Center and its partnership with Atlanta Public Schools around early care and education. Whitefoord operates three school-based health center clinics and a family medical center where they specialize in pediatrics, family medicine, dental and behavioral health. Whitefoord also operates a NAEYC-accredited early care and education program for children 6 weeks through 5 years old. Whitefoord has served as a safety-net and support system for some of our city`s most underserved children and families in the greater Edgewood community for more than a quarter of a century.
We are America`s Electric Cooperatives. The National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) is the national service organization dedicated to promoting, supporting and protecting the national interests of electric cooperatives and the consumer-members they serve. NRECA`s more than 900 member co-ops serve 1 in 8 people across 56 percent of the country`s landmass. We are strong advocates for our members, helping safeguard their ability to provide safe, reliable and affordable electric service. We are industry leaders committed to the research and development of new energy technologies. Our work ensures our members are prepared to implement the energy solutions that are best for their communities. With programs and services promoting global development through rural electrification abroad, NRECA is also changing lives and growing communities around the world.
