Hoosier Hills Credit Union grew from the break room of the GM Central Foundry in Bedford, Indiana in 1968. It was formally organized the following year as Bedford Independent Federal Credit Union. Fifty years from its humble beginnings, Hoosier Hills Credit Union has grown to more than half a billion dollars in assets, serving nearly 30,000 members with the same mission–the financial wellness of its members.
